If a woman tries to preserve a marriage that has been damaged by infidelity, is she heroic or is she delusional? How many times does her husband have to cheat before she calls it quits? How many times does he have to get caught?
There it is, in a nutshell. Adultery. The theme behind my new novel, Sex, Lies & Hot Tubs, which, I’m delighted to announce, is now available online.
Actually, that’s not the whole truth. The idea came to me a few years ago while I was driving my daughter’s beat-up old Chevy pickup along the Superstition Highway, chasing my Ford Taurus. The Ford was supposed to be in the auto shop, but there it was, doing 85 or 90 (65 for sure), speeding away. How rude, right? What else could I do but follow it? But what does this have to do with hot tubs, pray tell? Well, I guess you’ll have to read the book to find out! For starters, though, you can stop by my book room to read the first chapter. And while you’re in there, check out my romances. ***If you’re in the mood for something darker, check out my short story collection, Burial Instructions and Other Stories. You can read an excerpt here.
So welcome to my e-home, and please pardon the dust. As you can see, I’m still in the process of setting up house, but I wanted to get the essentials out ASAP. Now kick off your cyber shoes and make yourself comfortable, and thanks so much for dropping by!
Lectio felix!
